Maniacal Writings

Due to financial cutbacks, the Light at the End of the Tunnel
has been temporarily extinguished.

I would like to show you something.
Something hideously ugly, and yet sensuous and beautiful.
It's dark and evil, and yet often shines brightly
with goodness and giving.
It is spewing hate, and yet capable of unconditional
love and compassion.
It's pain is unfathomable, but it remembers peace and joy,
the warmth of which still lingers.
It is capable of murder and destruction,
but also wants to build and give,
to leave something positive behind when it leaves this world.
It is childish and stupid, but often shows deep understanding
and timeless maturity.
It has begged for death and joyfully embraced life.
I would like to show you my soul...
